Pollution in waterways is the primary cause of the extinction to various species of animals and the death of over 300,000 people. If various types of species die out food chains will be changed and a lot of other things will change. In the future if we don't clean up our act we might not have an earth to Iive on. No one wants to be put through the pain of losing a family member or friend or going through a life were you can't do something as simple as having fresh drinking water.

These days there are many alternative environmentally friendly cleaning products. We should all dispose of waste properly by never poring anything that isn't biodegradable down the drain, and we should never flush garbage down the toilets.
